About IoTPlanet
From the connection layer up to intelligent ops
IoTPlanet is an open-source organization on GitHub. The aim is an IoT intelligence stack: device connectivity → data intelligence → autonomous decisions. The journey started with xtream-codec (repo: hylexus/xtream-codec; docs hosted here)—async IoT networking and JT/T 808 codecs, the connection-layer foundation of the current matrix. Each repo has its own license.
What we are building now
Make high-throughput connections and protocol codecs solid first, then stack a telemetry pipeline and AI-assisted ops. Each layer can be verified on its own—you do not wait for the whole matrix to send the first packet. xtream-codec ships codecs and a JT/T 808 server. net-octo is a published desktop lab (TCP/UDP server/client, ASCII/HEX, Modbus CRC); 808 / 1078 / 809 / 905 decoders are next. vehix-agent is the first vertical: an EV fleet ops agent. The demo uses GB/T 32960 and UDS, with LangGraph over MCP tools. JT/T 808 in the same conversation via MCP is still on the roadmap.
Where this is headed
The order is connection → data → intelligent decisions. Connected vehicles and EV fleets are the first vertical. Near-term we want a deployable enterprise reference architecture from the projects that already run. Further out: incubate access, edge, governance, security, and visualization, and take part in interoperability. That is the direction—not a finished IoT operating system or platform.

Honest roadmap
Shipped work is present tense. The MCP bridge to xtream-codec is labeled as planned—design docs are not products.
